The only advantage of the 39 over the 59, other than looks, is ease of
tuning. A little bit of sandpaper judiciously applied on the case's
interior and/or knob-nub of the 59 might resolve the tuning issue.

OK You Panic-Creating Ultralight Radio Fanatics,
I am currently in negotiation with the SRF-39FP eBay seller dude in
Florida, to purchase a serious number of SRF-39FP's, to use in the Ultralight
Radio Awards program. He does appear to be motivated to sell me a whole bunch
of them.
Rob,
Your January DXplosion on the SRF-59 shows all of us what a highly
motivated DXer can accomplish with these little wonders. Reception of a
99-watt
station in Alabama is phenomenal! (but so is Venezuela-750, and Bonaire-800)
You are having WAY too much DX fun, brother!
I'm hesitant to say WJHX was on their 99 Watt night power.

Bill,
I'm actually hoping there'll be a groundswell of support to keep CBU on AM,
regardless of whether or not the FM is approved.
True, the CBC is on the net, but it's nice to have some quality programming
from Canada to listen to in the daytime from Seattle. Sure won't hear it on
88.1.

So, we should send in our support just so DX'ers have another open channel?
Right.
Im hoping there's enough support shown by locals to keep the AM signal
going.
I highly doubt the CBC will pay much attention to comments from DX'ers... as
they'll know they're nothing more then that.

dismal. Tonight, 6792.5 is heard at 20 dB at best above the noise floor, with
