NHK2 stations on 747 and 774 are already putting in decent audio at 0730
UT. I'm also carriers on 594 (Japan, threshold audio but getting
better), 693 (Japan) and 738 (Tahiti).

Listened from 1305-1345 ut and conditions were very poor with only a few weak
carriers and one with audio which was JOUB-774.

Listened from 1410-1432. Short session this morning, lower channels
ok, only VOA 1575 weak above 828 kHz. Signals dropped right before
sunrise.
153RUSSIA, 1410 good with music.
189RUSSIA, good with Radio Rossii ID at 1411.
279RUSSIA, 1412 good with Radio Rossii ID.

A strange morning today, and not what I had expected with the dropping
A/K indices (SF 76, A5, K2). Listened between 13:50 (and now, still listening
at 15:00). Lots of domestic splatter this morning. JJ were way down (but so
was almost everything else, although the CC seemed not too

As Walt said, conditions were a bit disturbed. I had lots of signals
below 1400, but not many of them were very strong. Things were nearly
dead above 1422, with mediocre carriers on 1557 1566 1575.
