According to a quick Google search, WDKD simulcasts with WSIM-FM Florence, which is branded as Star FM. WSIM is on 97.3 but has a translator on 97.1, so perhaps there's been some recent station shuffling. It may just be a red herring, but I thought I'd mention it. Bruce Bill Harms wrote:

W246BX on 97.1 looks like the 97.1 Frank FM Miller's website mentions and what we've been hearing on 1310 AM. I'm betting WSIM has an HD2 channel which is whats on that translator, and WDKD-AM is simulcasting the HD2 channel or the translator. Websites and known to not be always up to date Paul

Walt and Others, The difference in TP and DU propagation between John and the rest of us seems really bizarre. I had no trace of any TP audio this morning, but had decent audio from 738-Tahiti (1255) and threshold audio from 639-Fiji (despite a seriously under-modulated signal).
