No, 2.2.0 has a correct implementation (at least the code looks correct to
me -- I still need to verify it).

Yes it was, and it made a strong statement about availability without bothering
to check a reliable source. Sort of puts all of those Clinton impeachment news
stories into perspective, doesn't it :-)?

The article is about the Blackdown project, not a different one.

The JDK 1.1.
I'm new to this list (been lurking for awhile though)...I first want to send
my thanks to all at Blackdown for doing a great job; you are helping further
the cause of Linux and Java and it is much appreciated.
Now for my question...
I installed the latest release version (1.1.7v1a) on a Linux 2.
Java Port Team,
Will this version of JAVA run properly on RedHat Version 4.2 which is
running 2.0.33 version of the linux kernel? Thanks alot. If not which
port of Java can I run I am looking for at least 1.1 or later.

It would seem from the 1.2 status page that 1.2 is fully functional
except on 2.0.xx linux kernels. Is this correct? Do we have to wait
for a kernel patch to get 1.2 or can it be released with the caveat
that it requires a 2.2.x kernel?

I am preparing a magazine article on Java for Linux. It will probably
appear May/June, and will cover JDK 1.2 for Linux. I have spoken
several
times with Anand Palaniswamy about the 1.2 port, and have the Feb 22
build running on my Linux laptop (RedHat 5.1).
I'd like to talk with you within the
I just read on http://www.linux.org.uk/diary/ that kernel 2.0.37 should
be released within a week. Does anyone know if this kernel still has the
socket multicast issue that's holding up the port? If it does, now might
be a good time to suggest it to the kernel folks...
If it doesn't, though, it m
Hello
I search a C development environnement write in Java for running in any

In preference a graphic environnement.
