How exaclty do they prevent download to banned countries?
Is it something like a simple IP address ban?
Does it actually work?

Nice applet, but misleading. It works only with the microsoft jvm, which has
directx extensions. So no misteries
play the applet, you'll need to manually install the ms jvm.
