Hi Tammy,
Unfortunately, this is not something that I need.
I actually have two programs that will do those functions and more in the form
of Gold Wave and Sound Forge.
What I need is to convert audio files, be it digital or analog to text files in
order to get a transcript of the session.

Hi Victor,
I'm afraid your friend has a lengthy task ahead of her.
Since that technology hasn't come to be as of yet, she'll have to listen to
the recordings, and manually type the content.

marctony,
It would probably help people help you if you said which version of
Firefox you are using, which of various Yahoo sites you are experiencing
problems with (a URL would be useful here), and precisely what problems
you are experiencing with that site.

Donnie,
What do you mean you have spaced out your icons?
I have over six rows of icons without any trouble in JAWS reading them.
It could be that your icons are too large or too spaced out, if that's
possible.

Hi Rich,
It sounds like you need to call your ISP's tech support and get them to go
through your settings with you.
Another thing you might want to try is the connections tab of your options
dialog box.
I thought of this when I read your last message.
One question you should ask yourself is
Victor, he is not on dial-up. He is on a DSL modem. While this does use the
telephone line it does not use the dial-up switch network.

Hi Dale,
Although he is on DSL, the computer still uses a number to dial out.
While this number uses a part of the telephone line that is not normally
used in normal analog telephone operations, it requires dialling none the
less.
Having said that, These settings should be checked as I
