in the In Box. I wonder if there isn't some
kind of security setting on your Outlook which is too high.

Hi Suzy,
When all else fails, try running anti-spuyware
On more than half my emails, when attempting to delete, I get an error sound
and the question: Are you sure you want to permanently delete these
messages?
I have been given some suggestions, but so far, none have resolved this
problem.
Help Please,
Suzy

You said: I must ask if you have
empty deleted items on exit checked or not.
I have not. Also, control D, as asked by R. J., gives the same error
sound and question.
Do you have any idea why the delete key works on most of the posts
checked, uncheck it by hitting enter. (This is a
toggle.)

Hey David,
I told Suzy to uncheck group messages
Hi Suzy,
When all else fails, try running anti-spuyware software, such as Ad-Aware,
Spybot, or a new one I found called, simply, No Ad-Aware.
The latter is great and quite extensive in it's searching capabilities, but
that's only my opinion.
You will have to shell out some money with this
