Hi all,
I was trying something out in IE7 this morning using JAWS 8.0.423 demo,
and I've discovered that despite the tabbed browsing feature being
turned off, I still hear new tab page when starting the browser. Can
anyone duplicate this please? Thanks.

Hi listers I am
I would have to second your request. I've tried several, but must be doing
something wrong. Also, I tend to be able to burn CD's but DVD's just sort of
stop, and I don't have any or much speech from Jaws.

as none are needed. Yes it will do data disks along with audio and or movie
disks.

What does what Google does with the mail after dispatching it to your
Outlook Express folder have to do with spam filtering? I'm not sure what
you're asking here.

Hi Steve
Without more details about your system (e.g. what country, what browser
and version, what JAWS version, whether you are on broadband or dialup,
what your web experience is like in other respects), it's difficult to
make any suggestions. But I seem to be able to change settings in
Hi Benjamin I am using JAWS 7 and Internet Explorer 6. I am writing from

Don't worry, Steve, you don't sound silly.
But I've checked and I can indeed change my Gmail settings from the

Hi there listers.
A though occurred to me today while I was writing a message to someone. It
could be rather dangerous placing your contact numbers in your signature to
emails. We do so much forwarding and there are so many people out there who
we don't know personally, that we could be
Another thing that you are missing here is that these messages are archived as
well and can be googled very easily. So not just the 200 or 300 people can see
them but practically the whole world can if they wish to Google the info.

Good evening,
I remember a long time ago (maybe JAWS 6 or something) I accessed some of
the JAWS training materials with the FS Daisy reader. I tried this with
JAWS 8 and it only reads things with the standard JAWS voice. I never did
anything special in version 6. Is there something special

It is very unlikely that installing version 11 will cause your present
