was an ex demo so I have taken the plunge and ordered one. I'll let you
know how I get on.
I am still annoyed with Realtek as I already have several normal
microphones which

Norton Internet Security 2008. A couple of people recently installed the
program and had not run into any major problems so far.
For those who have installed NIS 2008, I was wondering if you could provide
an update

hi. Simply press your tab key while you're in
the conversation window. when you hear, history
edit, then you *should* be in the window where
you can use your arrow keys and read through the
conversation. personally, I think the keystroke
to go back to the history window is kinda silly,
JS install worked for me today.

My question is are these scripts updated since I downloaded them last month?
My alt 1 through 10 doesn't work on my computer when I'm in the typing
window.
So do I need to download them again?

If you are using JAWS, you can access the conversation by hitting ALT-1, ALT-2,

Hmm this is very strange, as I have jaws v9.0.515 running here with word
2003 and it works great, better, in fact, than jaws 8. I can't remember if
in your original post you said if you had reinstalled microsoft office, if
not then I would try that.

I didn't say so, but I did. I also made sure my display settings were what
they should be.

All,
I think we just figured out what is going on in Jamie's case. Our
support team will now work with him to get it resolved and we'll be
working to get this cleared up right away. It is related to the Windows
Installer and System Restore we think. If you hear of anyone that seems

Ok Gang,
I have downloaded the new Yahoo scripts, and it doesn't fix the alt 1 through

What do I do to fix this problem?
I'm running Jaws 9, yahoo 8, IE 7, and windows XP home.
Thanks

This is not a jaws question. SSL is a one or perhaps the only way to
have secure web pages. This option will clear out copies of these secure
pages so that nobody can read them if they get a hold of your computer.

Apologies for cross posting.
This was a mistake.
I had originally thought I would post to blind computing but then the issue
of using Jaws to access the site occurred to me . I thought I had deleted
the blind computing address but obviously did not do so and it went off to
both lists by mistake.
I had what sounds like similar problems back when I had JFW 7. Dennis from
FS tech support was able to walk me through fixing it, but I have no idea at
this point what had to be done.
