AS far as skype itself is concerned, no reason not to upgrade over 3.0. In fact, the audio quality is going to be slightly better in 3.6 as they have upgraded the codec used a few times since version 3.0. The scripts work as well with 3.6 as they did with 3.0. actually, the latest version added
