We are in the process of getting ready to upgrade from Lotus Notes 6 to Notes
8.2.0 at work. I am currently a JFW v9+ user and am slated for the v 10
update. Does anybody have experience with JFW and Lotus Notes v 8? Any
problems or issues I should know about? Thanks!

I cannot currently access a portion of an application at work that is written
in Oracle Web Forms with my JFW. I know v 10 is the hot topic right now.
Anybody know if Oracle Web Forms will be accessible with JFW v 10? Has anybody
ever had any experience using JFW with Oracle Web Forms

Hi Desiree,
Yes, Firefox 3.0.2 (or rather, now 3.0.3) is indeed more stable.
Some problems with JAWS 8, like sometimes paragraphs not properly
wrapping, cannot be fixed on our end. Freedom is currently working on
improving Firefox support, as can be seen in the What's New document for

Hi,
To make Oracle forms somewhat accessible, you need to install the latest Java
runtime environment and Java Access Bridge.
You can follow the steps given in this page to make the information provided by
the Oracle forms accessible.

Using windows xp home and Jaws 7, is there a way to access balloons? I have
gotten a balloon that tells me that one of the devices has failed. Click this
balloon to find out more. I hope my external hard drive hasn't just died. Is
there a work around?
Thanks for your help!

The information page refers to version 10.
For 9, your guess is as good as mine.

Hi Tammy,
Hit insert+F11 to go to the system tray, and the notification should be in
there.
You can then tab to the right mouse button to activate the applications
menu.

You might see this balloon in your System Tray if you react quickly enough,
i.e., within a few seconds, and then right-mouse-click or whatever.

The keystroke for turning the volume up or down is the up arrow for turning

You can also use the hotkey of control+alt+slash to take the volume up to

Yes I have. With Oracle web I had to have some scripts written to use it

sympathize with you. One thing that I found is that you have to use your JAWS

I have a folder containing other folders, and for some reason, the folders

folders are organized by number. When folders begin with 0. and then 01.
How could I have forgotten about that? thanks.

Try this:
Run Winamp, and hold down the up arrow key for few seconds. This

To decrease the volume Press the down arrow.
Hope this helps.
