Hi,
I tried restarting jaws. Didn't help. Stressing the cpu with prime95 however
did help. It seems that the machine uses less cpu power than it needs and
when it gets stressed it actually uses enough cpu power.

As long as your version of JAWS can read dialog boxes, it should work with
MSE, whose user interface is very simple.

Hi,
Whenever I wish to delete any file, JAWS9 will prompt me, saying,
Are you sure you would like to delete the file and move it to the

However, I noticed that JAWS9 became lazy today, not prompting me

Hi Al,
Does it sound like there's two voices talking at the same time? If so just
press the Insert Key plus the letter J and select Exit. Then there should be
one voice talking instead of two.

Susie,
Converts text in a document to speech (Mp3 format, I

I also think it would be cool if you could type in a person's name and it would
give the address and phone number and the e-mail address. So an example I
could type in either Tracie or Mark Chesnutt Beaumont Texas and the other stuff

Hope this is not consider inappropriate but while jaws 11 researcher is nice
less not forget that the function of the program is to make every type of
program that sighted people take for granted because they can see. JAWS makes
them accessible to the blind community.

Susie,
It is nice that the Kurzweil option is there, but for those
of us that don't own it (and it's quite expensive from my
understanding) there are other options out there. I just
heard about this program and have not tried it but I'm told
it works well. This will only do Mp3 but would be sweet
Thanks Tim,
I had the last one unchecked, but the first one was checked.
I had 2 occurances of the script debugging and both were checked.
This should help in Open Book from time to time, I get the same script error
while in that program.

Those things are nice and all,
but wouldn't it be great if it would work the way it should in standard
applications?
I would rather have 100 task specific programs on my machine,
than 10 multi-purpose programs.
It has been my experience that programs that do only one thing, tend to do
it better
I couldn't agree more, Rick. I guess the Research It is nice, though I
haven't used it a lot. I'm concerned about some of the focus issues in 11
that I didn't have in 10.

Hi lenny,
What you can do is: Go Toos | Options | Connection tab; then tab to the
change... button and activate it; then tab to a group of 3 radiobuttons
and choose 1, never dial a connection. OK your change, and then OK
the dialogue.
