I read a lot of books from bookshare on my computer using Jaws 11. In the dialog I often come across an ellipsis. I wish to silence it, but haven't been able to do so. Putting it in the Jaws dictionary manager, hasn't worked. Does anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks in advance! Vicky

Vicky, The elipsis is only read as such when punctuation level is set to All, at least that is the default behavior. If you are still hearing elipsis, you can go into the customize punctuation dialog and set it not to speak anything when it encounters that symbol. Customize punctuation is

It is not the fault of the message rules. The filter for Junk Mail is being too aggressive and moving them to the Junk Mail folder before the rules get a chance. I normally press the Applications key on the message wrongly placed in the Junk Mail folder. Arrow Up to the Junk Mail submenu and

My suggestion is to uninstall the update if u went thru the help menu and down load the update from the FS site. Having had a problem since doing this. There must be some thing corrupted in the auto update, for I had the same problem on both a XP Home edition and a Window 7 computer. -
