with the virtual ribbon on, then alt+f doesn't open the file menu here either
(it appears on the screen, but jaws doesn't read it, or navigate it). There's a
similar problem with wordpad - the menu opens, but if you arrow down a few
commands Jaws gets stuck.

I use to have a program that did that It was on a very old xt system. I can

Still sometimes have the same issue with Alt-left arrow not changing to the
previous page. When It refuses to back up, closing the page with Control-W
closes IE altogether. Are there any settings changes that need to be made to
eliminate this issue? Are others experiencing this also?

is an ie shortcut. I found most windows shortcuts work in conjunction with
jaws. its best to know shortcuts to every program you have, that way if one
doesn't work try the other!
