Hi, Even if the laptop does not have a numb pad, I would tell your friend to have a sighted person look at it, because I have bought laptops that had an insert key in the most unlikely places. I even had a laptop where you had to hold down the FN key and press another key to get the insert. I

What I found out if you are using a headset when you have gold wave open you have to listen through it, but if you want to listen to it through your speakers you have to reopen gold wave. It crashes on me too, when I try to unplug the headsets, and listen through the speakers. So do all your work
