Jaws does show Outlook Express scripts, but several functions don't work in the new version such as the shortcuts for alt-1 thru alt-6. I had to re-label the graphic 589 to unread and 139 to read. I haven't figured out how to get the shortcuts back. - Original Message - From: "George

    JAWS works fine for me on all versions of Thunderbird.  There's a catch, though.  JAWS 18 is the only version which will read the in box.  Earlier versions of JAWS won't read the in box.  Google any questions you have about Thunderbird and an answer will likely pop up from the Thunderbird

There's probably not a huge difference between scripts written/compiled for 16 and 18, but the further back you go, the less likely things will work right. I was using Jaws 11 or 12 until fairly recently on an XP machine, and some of the newer scripts, for Goldwave for instance, wouldn't do
