You could try playing around with the advanced options in JAWS and turn off
things like check for updates and try remote speech on startup eetc but I doubt
that it will make a real difference.

I have just installed two Vocalizer voices to try with the latest 14.4004
version of JAWS.
Can anyone tell me how I actually change the voice from eloquence to these
voices please, do I need to change the voice profile or can I just change the
voice on the fly?
