I'm using jaws 9 and it tends to happen on pages that I believe have links to
audio content... I think they are just links to MP3 content, though. Its not
some sketchy site or anything, it's a medical transcription website.

It never occurred to me til now, but this may be an issue with JAWS 9. That's
what I have, is that what you are using, Karen?

Visit the JAWS Users List home page at:

, or at
least I don't think I can if I first have to completely delete my current
version of jaws first.
Please help, I'm so confused.

I just completed a full uninstall and reinstallation ofjaws. I am just looking
to find where I can change which punctuation is in the most category. I once
set these values but I cannot remember where it was that I went todo these
changes. If anyone knows, please let me know.
Thanks,
Kate

Kate, You can open the configuration manager and choose the customize
punctuation
in the control
pannel. That particular one, the printer and fax one, it only gave me an option
of opening or exploring it. Are there things on the start up menu that aren't
allowed to be taken off?

Gosh, thanks, I knew there had to be a way and wasn't going to give up looking
for the answer after Freedom Scientific told me there'd be no way. It doesn't
seem like a hard task to do, so figured I'd just throw it out there for the
heck of it. You guys are great. Thanks again,Kate From: florl
