Thanks for the information. Actually, windows photo viewer would not allow Jaws OCR to perform correctly. However, I recalled in the past I opened a similar .jpg formatted file in K1000 which probably operat's much like OpenBook. It worked perfectly. I even changed the default program so K1000

Hi Leonard, I've access .JPG files in the past using the Freedom Import Printer / Openbook. What you can try, if you have Openbook is: 1. Open the file, & press, Control + P, as if you were printing it. 2. Arrow down the list to, Freedom Import Printer, & press enter. If it's going to work

Leonard, As I'm sure you realize, a .JPG file is an image file. With luck, someone will have a definitive solution, but two possibilities come to my mind. First, I wonder if renaming the file by replacing .JPG with .PDF would retain the file's integrity. If so, this would enable the JAWS OCR

Hi Leonard, The JPG file extension means it is a picture, in this case a picture of the print statement. You could use the built-in JAWS OCR, or you could contact the mortgage company and tell them you need an accessible version, probably accessible PDF is what they would offer you. Tim
