Hi Steward.
Open the Avast setting interface, and press insert + 6 to create a new
script for Avast, and accept the name.
Than go to tthe Set Option menu, and select Advanced, and check the use
MSAAA box, and say ok.
Save the changes, and you should be done.

Hi everyone,
I am using Jaws 12, with my new Toshiba Windows 7, 64 bit notebook.
After startup, and at other times on the desktop I am hearing, AMCCC
Capturing Window.
If you are familiar with this, sure would appreciate some advice. I haven't
the slightest idea what this means.
In Windows7 this is possible, but not in XP with only one sound card.

One of the things I have not been able to understand about Jaws volume
issues , is that in iTunes, even in Windows XP, you can control its volume
separate from Jaws.
Can anyone explain that?

Hi Russ,
It is possible that this is some type of utility for the Notebook,
and you may be able to disable it by locating it in the system tray,
or from the System Configuration Manager in Windows.
If these utilities are not necessary for the operation of the computer, it
is best to get them out
I'm getting that capturing window message on a Windows Vista and a Windows 7

person said. Good to know.

I dedicated the one on the mb to jaws and the other for everything else.I

Often I could not hear jaws when on one of these pages.
Will you people change this subject line already?

Jaws has actually had this capability for a long time. Only in
versions prior to 10.0, the soundcard output had to be configured by
manually editing the jfw.ini file. Instructions for this could be
found in the jfw technotes up on FS's website.
With jfw 10.0 and higher, you just need to pick
Placing only the music on a specific sound card might be difficult or rather
not doable. You can dedicate a sound card to jaws very easy as has been
stated.
