I also used it and found it to be a great service. I hope it continues.

I installed GoldWave v5.70 on my windows seven 64 bit laptop computer. Are
there jaws scripts for this version running jaws v15?

I've been using goldwave for 2 years and have found it is quite accessible
without the jaws script. the program developers say that their program can
detect if a screenreader is being used then adjust to that.

Hi All,
I'm running XP Pro, Jaws 13 thru 15, a Microsoft Desktop 3000 wireless
keyboard. In the place where the right Windows Key is normally, there is a
button / key with a picture of 3 folders. I have no clue as to what this
key does. Is there any way to change the function of this key
Hey Gang,
I'm running OE, word 2003, and XP.
Can someone tell me how to put headings in an email.
So all I have to do is press H to get to what I want to read, because the
document is to long that I'm putting in an email, and there is some stuff I
want to skip over.
Thanks for any help
Patti
You could probably do it with a JAWS script assigning that key to another
event. It might help if you had the manual for that keyboard and had Barbara
look up what it is supposed to do.

Does anyone know where scripts for JAWS 14 and 15 for Thunderbird can be

I'd dearly love capability for first letter navigation in the folder

another folder; being able to find text in an open
I don't use any scripts and it works just fine.

Hi David,
The printed documentation that came with the keyboard is not in English.
It's also obvious that someone had this package before me because the
documentation that was included with it was all torn into squares but,
useless anyways. The only way to get the documentation is run the CD
We could still most likely get around it and assign that key to something
else you would want it to do.

Hi,
First, SELECT and COPY all of the text in your Word document to the
clipboard. Then, You need to format your email msg as HTML. You can do
this by: opening a new message (For example); then before you type
anything there press ALT-O, r. (This give you what OE calls Rich
Text/HTML.) After
I've also been using GoldWave for several years but I always used Jaws
scripts. So, I thought I would give the program a shot without the scripts
since I was somewhat skeptical about its usefulness without the scripts.
However, I must admit using the program without help from Jaws on my initial
Yes, it works without scripts and I've been using Thunderbird for
months, but I find it clunkier than OE. For example, if memory serves,
with OE there were far fewer keystrokes needed to move a message from
one folder to another. The competition has an app that allowed for
first letter
Mike,
You could just install the document from the CD using Windows Explorer,
without running anything else in it, if after you insert the CD/DVD into
your computer you hold down the left shift key for about 20 seconds or
until the CD drive stops spinning up and down. Then you can open
Ah, yes. XP and OE. I don't think there will ever be such a terrific
match again.
I don't fret too much about not being able to find text in an open message.
I don't like Outlook, and I hear such horror stories about other email

Hello David,
I was told one time that is the FN key .
So, when you press the FN + F12 or 12, it let you internally turn on or off

I can't remember exactly.
If, you turn on your external wireless switch doesn't mean your wireless is
going to work, if the internal is
