Hi all,
I realise with NVDA you can have it on a portable thumb drive and run it
on a pc without any intrusion from what I understand.
Is there a way to do the same thing with Jaws?
Looking at further study and no point studying Tech support if options
are limited.
If I were to possibly
type in wordpad in the search box in the start menu. that will load the
program.

have put it in the programs section on the website.

Consider enabling the JAWS braille viewer. Note that you do not need to have
a braille display for this to work, but if you do have a braille display,
both can be used together.

The path should automatically be reachable from your run dialog box. So hit
windos-key+r, then type "wordpad".
Not 100% sure how the search box works in Windows 7, but if you search your

The easiest way is to type Wordpad intoCortana and active the desktop app. To
avoid this in the future, right click on the desktop app, arrow down to Open

Hi folks. I need to be doing this soon, while using a web application. By
default, JAWS does not even show the position of the virtual cursor, which
means a sighted person would have a hard time following my

Hi, George. Press control+JAWS key+enter all together. If this sounds like a

To clear up any confusion, Open Book uses its own built-in speech, not JAWS.
To initiate a scan in Open Book 9, press the space bar.
