Well, before the upgrade of the patch failed, everything was ok. I decided
to uninstall the jfw16.exe file and to reinstall it again and the problem is
solved, so it has to do that the upgrade patch failed to install.

Windows Mail in Windows 7 is a registry edit, and Outlook Express, was not
engineered by Microsoft to workin Windows 7
and therefore may have unexpected side-effects , which FS would not have
anticipated in the development stage of Jaws.

install says that it cannot install the patch and then there is only an OK
button which quits
Did you re-install the patch scripts for Outlook Express in your Jaws 16
beta?
I had to do that with the first release of Jaws 16. But, my update went
fine and I am using OE with my Win 7 machine as I am writing this. I just
ran the update from the Jaws update instead of downloading the

If the program is available officially for a supported version of
windows then report it.
FS wont make any changes to jaws 16 to improve access to outlook
express as it is not supported by MS.
