When a test does not even get off of the ground, it sometimes does not
output out any results, and therefore the test result formatter does not
know about the test. That is why the number of tests sometimes varies.

or higher. Even if you have both JVM's installed, maybe
for some reason the default one is not set to 1.3. Check that.
Anybody know why the forums are broken???

One thing to consider with the clustering argument is that there are
very many ways to skin that cat. I can get plain-jane stand-alone
Tomcat to scale sufficiently, and without too much work. I guess once
you get to distributed transactions, you need something better, that
built-in clustering
the idea. Then some of that could probably be organized and
funnelled into a formal doc, if we decide it would be better, but even
if that never happened, what the heck, it would still be pretty good.

For a page that thinks(maybe rightfully so) that this phrase has been
mimicked WAY too many times.

IBM has a 1.4, and, if you want to be really really
nice to us Novell boys, until there is a working JVM 1.4 on NetWare.
That is definitely the direction we want to move, but if that move is
too soon it will kill our development efforts, lacking a 1.4 on
NetWare.

I sure hope JBoss wins, for the look on the other guy's faces. Of
course, that means that Marc will have to go to the JavaOne awards
ceremony while everybody else is partying at JBossOne. :)

What is Larry Elison's saying? Only worry about the guys that are ahead
of you? Seriously, this says a lot about who they are worried about
beating them.

If we turn off Nagles algorithm in that code, we defintely need to look
at the buffer size if we want the most efficient data transfer.

1000's of packets per second vs 5 packets per second(or as Loren saw,
about 2.5 per second) is a HUGE deal.

think I could almost justify that amount if the documentation is of high
quality. Once things are back to normal economically, that is
definite chump change.

your actual code with any knowledge of the testing framework. (Besides the need to
create an interface based on the object, which is a sometimes a good thing anyway,
