Hi Doug, I've successfully monitored 150 devices on a single P4 3ghz. (HT is better) You can grow to a lot more than 250 hosts if you put the DB in another server. The load will depend on the number of theads you run and the number of interfaces per host, I've seen around 40 with 200 hosts.
