I am 99% sure that I saved the file with bright red text, but apparently I uploaded one that contains near-black text... Anyways, when trying this again with the stable 18.08.1 AppImage, I cannot reproduce this bug. In fact, even when I tried to create a new minimal project with the refactoring release, I couldn't get the title to disappear. I think that I somehow screwed up when triaging this bug yesterday, sorry for that. It appears to me that this bug is now fixed, but it'd be great if @rh- could confirm this. I performed the following steps to try and replicate your issue: 1. Right-click a .zip file in my Downloads folder 2. Start Ark (the archive extractor) 3. Extract the archive into the Downloads folder 4. When switching back to Dolphin, the new folder is instantly displayed This does also happen when extracting the archive via right-click -> extract -> "Extract here" and when doing the reverse (so compressing a folder). Do you do anything else that might be important to trigger this issue? Also, you might want to consider an update to Kubuntu 18.10 (maybe even add the "backports" PPA from there if you are comfortable with PPA's). The software you are using is more than a year old and we made many improvements to Dolphin since then. Last thing: you should try deepl.com for translations, the results have been much better than with Google Translate in my experience. Would it be possible for you to install Dolphin 18.12 on your current system and try if you can reproduce the bug? We will of course reopen this report if the crash is not fixed, but it'd be great to have confirmation that the bug does still exist. For your baloo-related problems: You might want to seek help on #kde or alternatively disable baloo temporarily with 'balooctl disable'. Hope that helps!
