How does Koha determine relevance in search results? Can we adjust this? Ie
rank word hits in title higher value than word hits elsewhere. I've typed in
a few title search words and was surprised at my results.

Is it possible to take an XML feed of individual records and bring it into Koha
or MARC format?
Gartner can only send their article records to me as XML ... I don't know how
to get it from XML to MARC..

Hi All.
I have got an issue on installing koha 4.02.06 with Ubuntu 11.10 on vmware.
I have got issues with Section 2.4 of Ubuntu.Install guide.
The below are the errors I am getting while trying to install DBD::mysql.
Any ideas?
Thanks
David.
root@ubuntu:/etc/mysql# cpan
Terminal does
add to this note but this phrase Please
return this item.. seems to be hardcoded and unable to edit/remove. I'd
like to remove that wording.

Hello!
I am using the Koha serials module and was wondering if there was any way to
add a location or address next to the patron name? I'd love to be able to put
a floor number/location next to it, if possible.
As always, thanks to you all!!!

Perhaps a US based group such as ALA - Am Lib Assn - or SLA - Special Lib Assn
- could help? Does anyone have contacts within SLA or ALA? Their members
could apply pressure here.

[1] A good read, plus lots
BibLibre also indicated they were working on a mobile CSS.
You can test it here :

I tried this on my Android phone and iPad, but only seemed to get a

Hello!
Is it possible to print both barcodes and spine labels on the same sheet?
I see Gaylord has a label set, Gaylord LSL04 for both barcode and spine labels.
If so, does someone have a template for this or similar? :)

Hi Jared,
I see your point, even though you could probably give the correct dimensions
there are 500 duplicate records.
Is this a bug that will be fixed? I notice there is an option to match by ISBN
or ISSN but Koha does not seem to be able to recognize the first (original)
record.
