ynced libiris from trunk into the jabber
protocol plugin, and reorganized the tree so that it could be merged
easier in the future. I can post the patch if I find it, and if
someone is interested in applying & testing it.

The amount of duplicated code that it introduces in every protocol is what
makes me nervous. Something I spotted:
- validateData in Kopete"s ediitaccountwidget is pure virtual
- it is reimplemented by protocols, same with validatePassword
What I suggest:
- rename validateData to validateProtoco

As you might know, Kopete in KDE 4 depends on QCA (Qt Crypto
Architecture). Also, KDE 4 uses cmake as it build system. QCA was
imported into KDE's svn, but it uses qmake as a build system. This is

Just in case is useful for you, I started to feel pain in my wrist a few
months after starting to work full time as a developer.

experimental dev-0.12 branch has probably many bugfixes (and I am using that
version). I haven't tested the Yahoo support for it, but sure other
developers can tell you about it.
