good. make sure that the scarf perfect, because as you already know the
strength of the joint is in the scarf.

Do I have to disassemble the wheels to get the bearings out of a Cleveland
5x5.00 wheel?
The answer is No you do not have to separate the wheel halves to take out
the bearings. You do have to remove the wheels from the axles and first you
have to remove the brakes.

Each of my
axles has two spacers, one on the extreme inside next to the shoulder of the
axle and one next to the axle nut. In-between are usually bearings, cups
and grease seals. Some models are held together with snap rings, and others
are not.

I never did say, but maximum sustained speed in level flight. Otherwise
everyone would point the nose to the ground and claim something over 200. I
think that ground speed as reported by a GPS. I don't want to get too

Glass on the fuselage is not necessary for the structure. However it does
help prevent the wood from aging due to the elements. Paint will stick to
the wood, however moisture will expand and contract the wood and cause the
paint to eventually crack.

the turbo, Spinning it is a good thing. I would
also open the oil pressure line and try to push some oil in the bearings to
make sure it is not dry. Oil the remainder of the engine as well. Squirt
some in the plug holes as well.

In my first reply I gave the short answer "YES" with no explanation. Since
it's 5 in the morning and I'm not sleeping, I'll add the why. And, it's not
because all the other answers
Back in 88 or so I had a bad experience with poor performance from regular
auto fuel. My engine had a bad case of detonation. After that experience I
have only used 100 LL in my type 4. I have never experienced a problem with
sticking valves.
