There is a wing safety seminar down in Cape Girardeau at 11:00 tomorrow.
Usually last a couple hours with lunch. We can meet up before or after
down at your place or Cape Girardeau.  Have an excellent buffet and Cape
Girardeau Airport.

They are forecasting it to be a bit more windy than I care for.

*Saturday*
Sunny, with a high near 54. South southwest wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts
as high as 23 mph.

Per Larry's previous recommendation, Paul and I met up at the restaurant in
Dexter, MO for breakfast. It was a bit breezy, but you flat-landers have this
concept of using either end of the runway and landing into the wind. Makes
landings seem easy. :o)

Congratulations on your retirement, if there is such a thing. :-)  I
suspect you'll be doing airplane work out of your hangar once the locals
become aware of you talents.

We'll get together after the dust of the holidays settles.  Dexter,
Missouri would probably be a convenient spot.  Looking forward to
meeting up.

Beautiful day this morning for an 85 mile breakfast flight.  CAVU,

little or no wind, and not a bump in the air.  I did some calculations
on the return flight and it showed 163 mph TAS at 3500 MSL burning 5
gallon per hour at 2450rpm.  A real traveling machine and awesome flyer.

As soon as Jeff Scott gets moved off the mountain and down to the flat

KDXE it is. I'm vacationing at the new place in Arkansas for a couple of weeks.
Spent today unboxing my tools and parts and worked at getting the new hangar
and shop area put together. That's going to take another day or two of effort.
I did finally get the KR out a couple of days ago. That's the first time I've
had it started since the Gathering in September. It felt good to get to fly it
again, but I've got to learn how to deal with operating near sea level. This

Back to the mountain next weekend, then the weekend after that I'll be an Arky
