I have been thinking about my favourite bobbins for the Canadian Lacemaker

I was just wondering if other OIDFA members have received

So I am asking myself: Is it late? Although the contents is listed

I came across a website today that mentions lacemaking in Burano. Apparently
a translation, it includes a charming statement:
If you plan to buy lace on the island, choose with care and discretion a lot

Hi Darja,
There are some wonderfull books for 3D flowers around.
Noben: Floribana
Wilmot: Lace in flowers (I think - I can't get to my db at the moment
as access is 'hosed' so to speak)
Shepherd: Fantasy Flowers
These are 3 I can think of off the top of my head. I know there are
more.

Hello Darja and everyone on arachne,
Although I do not know of a free pattern for a 3D flower, if you do have a
round pattern in the size you want, you could try working it twice, on top
of itself, sewing in the second layer to the bottom, here and there as you
work. Then find a nice button or

I don't know of any on the websites; like everyone else, all I know are
those in books.

Hello Helene,
While there are some Americans who fry a great deal of
their food, others do not. Having eaten among
friends, I have seen both. American dinners are quite
often baked in ovens.
As for myself, I only fry eggrolls, which I make a few
times per year. Because they are more work to

The trick to make them taste more like a reeses is to add some peanut butter
in with the melted chocolate. This changes the consistency slightly and
