Does someone remember which website has a picture of moving bobbins on it?
Does anyone have pictures (preferably moving pictures so he can get the gist

Dear Laurie,
I've forwarded this to the Lacefairy, as (last time I
Jeri, threading the needle as the
thread comes off the spool had never occurred to me.
I'm trying to visualise this one, and think I need to get a magnifying glass
to see it in action. As far as my brain can work out without using a
magnifying glass, after you have threaded the needle there

after you have threaded the needle there will still be two threads
hanging either side of the needle and they will lie beside each other and
go through the fabric in

Thanks very much Jeri, for all that info and all the effort you put into
writing it.
I rarely use thread doubled (unless like someone else said I am sewing on
buttons) and rarely have problems with thread twisting/ tangling/ shedding /
or anything else extraordinary, and until I heard it

Yes, we've got some good roads in UK but there's too much traffic on
some of them.
Yesterday the M25 was clogged up - no obvious reason but I think there
had been an accident earlier in the day - and it took nearly an hour to
go less than 10 miles. Four lanes of traffic at a standstill.

recorder, which records in high quality, standard or long play so I can get
the time I need to record one video to one DVD - bit annoying when a video
says it's 2 hours playing time and it turns out to be 2 hours and 10

Dear Fellow Arachneans (some of whom I'll see soon in Denver),
On Monday evening I finally arrived in Chicago after flying for nearly
10 hours from Warsaw in Poland. A new terminal is in the process of

We desperately needed rain, and cooling off, so if Pene wants to visit
