Hello Everybody, Having been twice a judge I can't see any problem touching the lace pieces. First you look mostly with your eyes, second you will wash your hands before don't having rings standing out on them and when you must take the lace into your hand you do it very carefully. One could let

AhYes, the JUDGE must be able to handle the lace. I have no objection to that. The 'not touching' applies to the viewers. I would think that the people who know enough about lace (or whatever they judge) to be a judge, would also respect the entries. (Clean hands, gentle handling, etc.)
