Hi Everyone,
Yesterday while waiting for kids I had a chance to browse the new FiberArts
Nov/Dec 2006 issue. There is a wonderful listing for the upcoming Radical
Lace Subversive Knitting show at the Museum of Arts Design in NYC. Check

What a pleasant package to find waiting for me! First of all, the bobbins
are fabulous! I've quickly put them on a pillow, as I'm
Dear Secret Lace Pal,
Wow! You've sent a fabulous package! First, I didn't know your son had made
the great bobbins you've been sending on. The newest two are wonderful! I've
just pulled them out to take out to my shed to spangle them. I went to the
bead shop yesterday to buy some
Hello,
Yesterday while I was at a friends making lace, she came across the initials
N.B. on one of her note sheets from an instructor. We figured it meant
note, but would love to know the direct meaning of the initials. Thanks in
advance!

Dear Secret Lace Pal in England,
First I must thank you for another item that escaped my last note. DS2 seems
to have borrowed the little light for a church camp in the mountains

Now, my thanks for the
Hi Bev and Everyone,
What a beautiful site! I love the Bucks pattern. I've been doing very
little yardage or edgings lately, and feel inspired to work a little point

parchment? Or is it crumb-apart card? Thank

Hi Everyone,
Happy New Year!
I have acquired a great bundle of old Midlands bobbins. The bobbins are used
and worn and the spangles look to be original. The wires are thick and
tarnished and plenty of years of grime in the beads. The interesting part is
the beading...most are
several years away due to an
accident. First things were to finish and clear pillows, and now creating new
WIP's (works in progress).
Thanks to Bev for organizing this exchange! It was great to have a deadline
to work for.
