Just to be clear, the quote is from Adam Crafton's article on transfer

The background work can be exhaustive. One Spanish club made a preliminary
enquiry with an English club this summer to sign a Scandinavian player. A week

I thought Jansson was a revelation when he arrived at Leeds and that season
under Monk he and Bartley sorted out our defence which had been a problem for
years that nobody had resolved. I liked the fact we just said to Pontus you
just attack the ball and clear it. It worked. Since then it's
Not that fussed about Jansson leaving. I was never quite taken in by his
self-publicity, and I can easily imagine that he could be a disruptive
influence behind the scenes. I really hope that part of letting him go is
that they reckon Strujik is ready to step in.
On another note, though, I find
that his undoubted skill isn't worth the problems he
causes.

Great character. Made a massive improvement to our defending corners, and
seemed more able than ten bob for'ead Cooper when attacking them. However,
last few games of the season, I felt he and Kiko were becoming a bit of a
liability, and,
Brentford? Big time!
We’ll miss his last ditch defending, but going down like a sack of spuds, not

Agree with a couple of reports that suggest Pontus is buying into the hype etc
I don't know if they showed it on TV but after the goal he basically went to
all 4 sides of the ground and urged the fans on (something that we did not need
- the crowd was good yesterday)
As someone pointed out
