[LU] What do people think of the play-offs?

I notice that Huddersfield drew 1 - 1 with Bournemouth in their League One playoff semi final first leg. So with a win tomorrow Bournemouth would get to the play off final. I also notice that Bournemouth finished a full 16 points behind Huddersfield in the league. Personally, I don't like

I think the current promotion/relegation setup is very good. However, any expansion of the playoffs beyond the current number would adversely dilute the league season. I also like that the relegated teams don't get some sort of playoff lifeline at the end of their crappy/failed league season.

I hate the playoffs. They are unfair, and an example of the creeping Americanization of football. The top three teams at the end of the season should go up. It's as simple as that. Anything else is unfair. Cheers! Sean -Original Message- From: Tim Leslie

I've grown to like them, despite our appalling record in them. But I'd prefer to see a system that favours the teams that finished higher during the season, like this: Third placed team automatically qualifies for the Wembley final. Sixth plays fifth, with fifth having home advantage.
