God almighty.
On which planet are you living on?
He is a bloody catastrophe. He has not invested. He got Monk as his fourth
choice and wanted to sack him. For some reason he stopped interfering --
could it be the myriad of court cases?
The guy is a disgrace to himself and us. Everything that
Know it has been said already but that was the best performance that i can
remember in a long time. Really enjoyable (not during the game expected it to
all fall apart the whole 90 minutes.)

Yep - anyone who is bitching at the moment really needs to admit to

This must be the most optimistic time we've had in many, many a year, no?
Last night's game was the most encouraging one I've watched in many a year.

Somewhat the same: for me the most telling thing is the mood on this list.
Normally it’s a place full of guys who would bitch and moan about a blowjob.
Now some, dare I say it, optimism! Haven’t heard such positivity around these
parts since before Woodgate and Bowyer went Paki kicking…
Poor argument Eric.
How many of those managers Eric would you have kept on ? How many of those
managers Eric do you think would have taken us to the position we are today ?
My answer Eric , is none. I would have sacked the lot including Steve Evans who
despite doing a decent job was lacing.
...eventually. There was also Dave Hockaday, Dario Milanic, Uwe Rosler and
Steve Evans.
Until I wrote that down I had forgotten about Rosler.

Our biggest game for ages and you choose to go to a family party. Get a grip

We are all Leeds aren't we ?

Monk was pretty much blind luck. How many managers in the last 3-4 years? How
many managers did he try to approach in the summer and knocked him back before
he stumbled on Monk?
As I say I am all for looking forwards. Cellino divides the fans. These are
United times.

We've progressed in spite !? He fucking appointed Monk , he invested in the
team, Wood, Roofe etc).
Ridiculous statement.

Frankly I am all for being positive and looking forward so don't feel there's
anything to be gained from going over old debates about Cellino. He's a corrupt
buffoon, but he'll be gone by the summer. We've progressed in spite, not
because, of him.

Yep. He is much more of a risk than MC for me.

Watched the Cellino / Radrizzani press conference. Thought MC spoke well and I
don't know what others see but having met him briefly , spoken to others who
have and then watched him speak like this I see a man who is passionate about
football and Leeds United. He knows the score and more than
I think you must have been right mate.

We've only got Cooper as back up which makes me nervous as he's made of glass
and likely to make a mistake. Thought Ayling did well there yesterday but it's
a lot to ask of him to play there long term. Coyle looks superb but has had two
major injuries in his short career already and no

Simon - up front I'm sure we all agree. But didn't yesterday show that
we've already got more options than we can use in a match at centre back?

Monk needed him to do a job and he did it. Credit to him.
Credit to Monk for keeping faith with his player and getting the pay back
Damian
For me the most telling thing is the change is mood amongst the fans - I'm
walking into the ground expecting to see us win rather than hoping we won't be
too bad, and it's not just me. People are walking in with a smile on their
faces and walking out genuinely excited by what they've seen. Even

Seeing the post match comments here and speaking to people who were at the

feel very very happy about that performance. I take on board Dave's comments

Seconded...am coming over in April with my 15 year son and would love to meet
up and put faces to names/pseudonyms. Will be there for the Preston game but

Mowatt...that did make me laugh. There was like 45 seconds to go and he got the
ball under no pressure and instead of retaining possession tried a ridiculous
30 yard shot that just gave the ball back. I was screaming at the telly.

No report from me mate, thanks to Sky stupid Friday night football I was at a

my wife and was informed "I really really want to go and I am not going on my
own, over to you"TO be fair to her for all our 32 years of
Indeed, brother, indeed!
Ancient listers - do people still observe the tradition of meeting in a
watering hole pre-game, and where is the temple if choice these days?
DRB - fancy going? Is Guy H in the uk at present? Betty? Rogerre? I might even
ask Steady Eddie along? Cardiff maybe - 11 feb?
Waiting for Dave's report to come through. Spoke to a mate who said ER was
bouncing last night and there definitely now a realisation that we could be
about to witness something special this season.
Scores:
Green - 8. Two brilliant saves to keep out Derby's only chances. Kicking a bit
dodgy
The team has got all the hallmarks of a confident, hard working top of the
league team. To go on extended winning runs despite missing key players is
evidence to that.
I put this down in equal measures to the influence of Pep Clotet. He knows how
to instill confidence in players who are not
