(I’m a retired programmer that, much to my wife’s displeasure, never threw

You will need a parallel printer port computer to run mach 3, is that something
you have? You can use a UC100 adapter to be able to use a USB, but make sure
you get a genuine one and not an imitation.

The answer is simple, do you have the money and the time to invest and what or
where are the benefits. If you are a business then that is what you look at.

I have the 1200 with the Performance CNC upgrade. I got it about 9 months
after I bought my first LOM (1500 EXL). I used my 1500 a lot before I got
the 1200 CNC. I love my 1200 CNC but it did have a pretty good learning
curve and I'm glad I had the experience I did with the 1500. It took me
and as the seller has stated in their eBay listing, the 1800 was never
used... only put through the motions when setting up the programs on the
computer... a business venture they were considering never materialized...
so this machine is virtually new, never used
