Richard,
I'm sure you meant the lower right. We had a discussion awhile back and
found out even when you close the window with the X in the corner it

select who you want to break off (i.e., export).
2 Tag #3, and click descendents.
3 Brings up another window- select the number of generations. Since I

Most people like to keep all of their information in one family file. Legacy
easily accommodates this because of its nearly unlimited capacities.

I just reinstalled Legacy on my new Win7 machine.
Bold text is not showing bolded. It shows as b text /b for example.
I was (almost) sure it showed as bold text on screen.
I copied all of my .usr files from by install on XP.
Is there another setting someplace that needs to be set?

Dave,
There are so many places within Legacy where is it possible to include html
settings, or use Legacy buttons, eg, the Bold Button for the note fields,
that more information would be helpful - where are the lines to which you
refer? How did you create them? would do for starters.
There is

button, and/or the CNTL-B.

The Indicate Preferred Children in Child List (*) is working.
I just installed on Win7 64 Bit.
To be honest, I don't know if the Bold option was working

first you need to set the preferences for this list to send in plain text

After you set that then you also

Moe,
It probably has something to do with the Windows UAC (User Access Control) that
is not allowing it to open the Adobe Reader. You may have to temporarily turn
it off and then see if Legacy will open the program. If it will then you will
have to do a Google search on how to make Legacy a
