Lana, We have a recorded problem in our system that the backup prompt will not appear if you are only changing a Master Source. You have to change the data on a person by linking a source to someone. If you did not link that obituary to anyone then your problem is the one recorded. If you did

It works fine in text fields -- that is the text ends up where you want it. The quality, however, is far from acceptable. Even with a good microphone, clear monotone speech, and quite a bit of practice, the results still require enough re-editing to make it more time consuming than just typing
