Your data and media files and web pages can be anywhere you want them. Default is in c:\\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\ Everything else in the Documents\Legacy Family Tree\folder has to be there it can't be moved. That's where the program will look for the _AppData and other files and if it's m

Do you have lots of notes in your file. Notes can take up quite a bit of space since each note is allowed to be up to 1 MB (only used space is counted however so short notes will use little space and long notes will use a lot). Pictures will not add significant size because only the path to the

File size is not just the amount of people in your file. If you believe your file is to big because of additions/deletions then run a file>file maintenance>check/repair on your file (do this twice). Then run a file>file maintenance>compact file. This will remove anything not supposed to be in yo
