Yes - for this option it doesn't read the Legacy database at all, but rather
the HTML generated by Legacy.
And if they were to get mucked about with, they can be recreated easily enough.
Several of the other tools have been integrated in recent versions of Legacy
anyway.

Jean,
Contact Support for help in sorting out Legacy 9 on your laptop. Going
too and fro here is probably too hard.
You may need to do a clean uninstall and reinstall on the laptop with
Legacy as it sounds like there was a glitch in the installation.
Upgrade your desktop to Legacy 9. Start
I am using the latest version of Legacy and still use LTools for the web / css
option - works fine. Obviously I always make sure I have a backup before using
it and I don't use it for other options, but definitely OK with this one.

Thanks everyone for the discussion on LTools.
I'd already seen it - and rejected it. It was designed for earliier versions of
Legacy, as people have said. and since the database structure is now different,
that rules it out for me.
I first programmed a computer in 1968, and I don't use my
Thanks for that, Pat Wagley. Yes I am using Legacy 8. I own Leg 9 deluxe, and

Are you using Legacy 8? It appears that since the end of May, I think, this is

patch to LTools in Aug 2015. That would suggest that he is no longer
doing
It should also be added that Dennis has quit developing LTools so the
existing version 1.4.0 is the last one that will be issued.

LTools is not a Legacy sponsored program - Dennis was totally on his

When Legacy added Shared Events, Dennis had difficulty updating LTools
to work with all the changes in the program. There are even larger
data schema changes in v9.
Some parts of LTools work fine with Legacy v8 and
