It sounds as if you don't have Legacy set up properly and you may keep
opening a different file.
Check your settings at Options - Customise 1.2 that controls which file
Legacy opens when you open Legacy.
Also check your settings at Options - Customise 6.1 and 6.2 which are
your

I can’t imagine that the issue is with Legacy unless you do not have your
settings to properly go to where your files are.
Legacy is a very stable and excellent program. I have been using it shortly
after it first came out. I switched to Legacy from FTM as I needed a program

If the new family file was exactly the same as the original before the 11 days
of adding new data, you could keep the new family file as your main one.

There is a “date added” and “time added” in the search criteria, but this will
only find brand new individuals (not changes made).

I think you need to do this.
On the file that you were modifying you need to locate all of the modified
individuals and export those to a new database, and then merge that file
back into your original file.
You can find the modified records by using the search to look for everyone
with an update
Hi,
For whatever reason I can no longer recall, I began a "new" family file
using my older family file, meaning it was the same file but different
name. I obviously then forgot to move to my main family file to continue
doing my usual inputting of information and where I do all my work.
