Do any list members use Carbonite for backup? If so . . .
Have you ever had to restore a Legacy database from Carbonite? Did it work
well? Do you use a medium in addition to Carbonite (CD, external hard drive,
etc.) or rely only on the service?

Legacy User Group guidelines:
I personally use Dropbox with a folder that is not shared. I put my zip
backup files in the folder and it pushes them very quickly to the internet
cloud where I can pull them back down at any other computer if I need them. I
could also share the folder with others if necessary and they would

I have a friend who had a subscription to Carbonite and her Windows
Vista computer crashed. She got a new one with Windows 7 and it wasn't
a problem restoring the Family Files and linked data that were in the
c:\Legacy sub-folders.
She did have a big problem with everything else that was in the
