Cherie, First, let's understand what you want to do... You *import* one file into another - the gedcom or PAF is imported into your Legacy Family File. Then you *merge* the duplicates in that file. Howeverwe recommend that you import the PAF or gedcom file into a *new* Legacy Family File.
