Steve,
The default census sentence definitions have been designed with the US
census in mind. They have State and Federal censuses.
My census entries are mainly English.
You can change the sentence definition to suit your use of the
Description field. Just click the Edit Event Sentence Definition
If I assume you are talking about the Description field of a Census Event,
I always leave it blank.
I normally create an Occupation Event for the person based upon the Census
and use the Description field as such: Farmer, Coal Miner, Grocery Storage
Merchant, Carpenter.
