If you want to see the long place names on the Family view screen then goto
OptionsView and uncheck “Short Location Names on Screens” and save. This will
display the long location on all screens.

There is no way to search for tagged individuals from the Master Source list
you can only tag/untag, clear tags for people using that source. However you
can create a search list that shows individuals that have a source assigned

To do this part I would first untag

Another way to do it would be to go to William’s screen and add a wife with

Do you have any proof that Maud was William’s child? Seems strange that if she

orphaned in 1881 and Elizabeth adopted her sometime between 1881 and 1891
(adoption record?). If any of this is true then she

Have you used the ToolsAdvanced Sourcing screen, which allows you to apply

Why not just use the backup and restore function built into Legacy.

You didn't say what you were trying to do. Usually you would use that part
if you wanted to move the GeoLocation database to another location on your

If you are trying to find a location in the database that is not in
Not the same as what the OP asked. DVD-ROM and CD disks are different media

If you had previously added a description to your tags you can find them by
doing the shortcut cntrl-t or goto the edit menu and select Tag Records.
With the Advanced Tagging screen open you can rename what you assigned your
tags to. And if you click on the Tags to Show button you can change
I agree that the tombstone is the source and the cemetery is the repository,
and the photo is a recorded image of the source. If the photo is from someone
else then you just cite the photo with the creator/owner of the photo and date

Gary,
To answer your question, they did in fact program a means to source
Photographs, portraits sketches using SourceWriter if you have the
Deluxe version. Add a new source and choose Photographs, portraits
sketches from the list of source types and follow the prompts.

I have not experienced it, however, if you want your surnames to be all capital
