Hi, just to let you all know, I have (almost) seamlessly set up what I
had running in slackware, lfs style; the checklist:-
able to rsync (through ssh) - tick
able to export and mount nfs volumes - tick
nice graphical interface (lestif) - tick
able to read pdfs quickly (xpdf) - tick
boot in 30

global. Upon reviewing the /etc/bashrc, it contains:

but it also contains:
source /etc/profile.d/tinker-term.sh
