[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 67615] Fields in table-control of a form show '0' instead of text, when GUI-language isn't English
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67615 Lionel Elie Mamane lio...@mamane.lu changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |INVALID --- Comment #14 from Lionel Elie Mamane lio...@mamane.lu --- The text control takes the format to use from the table's field. In your case, the columns (fields) that display 0 have (under the hood) a numeric format. Since they contain e.g. person 5 which does not parse to a number, it is replaced by 0. How you go to this situation, I'm not sure. Here is how to fix it: * edit the table * select an affected field (e.g. IME) * change the format: - click on the ... next to format example (which, you'll notice, says 0) - since you have only one choice (text), a convenient way to change it is to change the language. - Click OK * save the table Your problem is fixed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 81475] Meta: enhancing Writer's standard and formatting toolbars
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81475 --- Comment #19 from Jay Philips philip...@hotmail.com --- Hi Mikeyy, (In reply to comment #18) I don't agree with kicking out some icons, since I use them regularry, but if most of people don't use it, I'll just have to re-add them into toolbars. Tried using sidebar, but to many things missing. It's just unfinished product. Yes the proposal is to make the toolbar more usable to most people's needs, but still make it easy for users to re-enable the removed/hidden icons. In Writer I just added Save As and kicked out buttons I know I will never or very rarely use. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83242 Priority: medium Bug ID: 83242 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: UI: Inform User during Installation, that LibreOffice is Accessible for Users with Impairments/Disabilities Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: harald.koes...@mail.de Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.3.0.4 release Component: Installation Product: LibreOffice Problem description: Since Version 4.3.0 the option Support assistive technology tools during installation (only Windows) is no longer necessary (see bug 80332). A user told me, that he came to know about the accessibility functions of LO only by chance because of this installation option. Hence to my opinion generally it should be more pointed out, that LibreOffice comprehends several functions in order to support users with Impairments/Disabilities. Solution: That means for the installation process that there should be again a hint according the accessibility functions. For Windows I propose to integrate this hint into the installation dialogue during the genuine installation process, anyway the user has to wait at this point. This hint could be improved, if it is highlighted a bit and if a link to the accessibility page of the LibreOffice website is integrated into the hint. For Linux and Mac OS there should be similar hints during the installation. I'm not familiar with Linux and Mac OS, hence I don't know how to integrate this hint into the installation process. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 83250] New: PRINTING / FORMATTING: Booklet Printing doesn't honor paper size.
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83250 Priority: medium Bug ID: 83250 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: PRINTING / FORMATTING: Booklet Printing doesn't honor paper size. Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Mac OS X (All) Reporter: jeff...@mikels.cc Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.3.0.4 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice I frequently want to print booklets, and the booklet printing feature of OpenOffice was always one of my favorites from years ago; however, it has never worked correctly on my Mac, and I've been waiting for it to get fixed. Here is the problem and how you can reproduce it (sizes below are in inches): Set up your printer with 8.5x11 (US Letter) paper. Set up a document with a page format of 5.5x8.5 (US Statement). Put enough text in the document to make sure there are at least a couple of pages in the document. Open the print dialog and select brochure mode. After selecting brochure mode, the paper size gets changed to Legal and this can be verified by either printing or selecting Open PDF in Preview. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR Since 5.5x8.5 is exactly half the size of 8.5x11, selecting brochure mode should print two-up on 8.5x11. I assume that some internal calculation is attempting to account for margins and determines that 8.5x11 is too small to contain the original pages, but this should not be. The end user should be responsible for using sane margins with respect to the capabilities of the printer, and the application should simply print 2-up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 83253] New: EDITING: Inserting animated gifs does not work correctly / consistently
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83253 Priority: medium Bug ID: 83253 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: EDITING: Inserting animated gifs does not work correctly / consistently Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux (All) Reporter: code3rea...@gmail.com Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.3.0.4 release Component: Presentation Product: LibreOffice I am experiencing a number of problems when I insert animated gifs into a slide in a presentation. First, overall performance starts to slow down quickly, and at times adding another animated gif, or sometimes just changing to a new slide (by clicking on one in the slide pane) will freeze my entire system for several seconds, sometimes 10s of seconds, including the mouse. Also, the image is usually inserted correctly (see screenshot 1), but often (not always; it is intermittent) if I move to another slide, then back to the slide with the inserted animated gif, it is no longer displayed and instead I see an empty frame with a small icon and three periods at the top (see screenshot 2). When this happens, the image is also not displayed during slideshows, which means that showing animated gifs is completely broken for me, because I cannot rely on them being shown correctly. These two issues seem to be related. If I have an animated gif showing correctly, and I then add another to another slide, and there is no long freeze to add the image, then the first image will still be displayed OK. But if I add the second image (or change slides) and experience the several-second freeze, I know that when I go back to the first slide, it sill not be displayed correctly. In the second screenshot, I had to add several new gifs to get this behavior to happen. You can see in screenshot 1 that I have images on 4 slides. In screenshot 2, I added an image to slide 5, no problem, then 6, no problem, then for slide 7, my system hung for about 8 seconds before adding that image. Then, all of the 6 previous images showed a blank frame like in screenshot 2. One thing I notice is that in Powerpoint, animated gifs are shown as static images in the editor, and are only animated during the slide show. This may help with the performance issues I am experiencing. In addition to the screenshots, I have attached several animated gifs for testing, along with the presentation file in the screenshots. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83200 ign_christian ign_christ...@yahoo.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from ign_christian ign_christ...@yahoo.com --- Hi Jonatha.. In addition to Tommy's question, you could also try disabling PDF as Standard Print Job Format in Tools Options Print From my experience, enabling that generates some issues. IMO using postscript, by disabling that option, is more reliable. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
