Hi Jason,
For a small group, arriving all at once, Life Alive is convenient and great
for vegans. If people are arriving more sporadically, then we may want to
chose another place or move to a bar or cafe with food for bit after
dinner.
Cheers,
Deb

Hi all,
I was wondering if there are enough folks in town on Thursday night to
warrant setting up an early dinner or something?
Cheers,

Hi Juanma,
It's great that you are addressing this new system, which sounds like it
would be terrible for privacy.
When I talk about digital privacy and free speech, I often recommend the
FSF (and/or the EFF) but don't say "I am from the FSF" because I am not on
the staff or board. I usually give
make that happen.
Thanks!

I am fairly certain it is too late to move LibrePlanet this year. It might
also be hard to hold it a different city in the foreseeable future since
the FSF's staff is primarily based in Boston. Other cities would be
expensive and difficult for the FSF, a non-profit that doesn't just run
On Friday afternoon, I'm running a personal security and privacy skillshare
and would love it if one or two people came over to encourage people to
generate keys.
It's not too far from the FSF office and I think it will be pretty chill.
I don't think a situation where many people associate the free software
movement with misogyny and pedophilia is doing the movement any favors. And
that's where we are. I do feel emotionally about this because it is a huge
waste of my time to try and bring new people to this movement and then

No reasonable person could have published any of the widely read

and to the core.

Hi all,
I was not offended by this. It was a little grumpy which 'smee
apologized for and now it's over. I do appreciate people's efforts to
stay civil and attempt to listen to each other, here and everywhere.
Thanks,

Not sure why this needs to be corrected, but I've traveled "our planet"
quite a bit (before Covid) specifically to connect with free software
activists and developers.
